We met while travelling - Bertie, from England, and Aby, from Argentina - in Rio de Janeiro, brought together by a shared love of food, wine and travel.

That meeting eventually became Wine Discovery, the Food & Wine business we run in Buenos Aires. For almost 10 years, it’s put us in front of travellers every day - hundreds of people from all over the world.

Over the years, we’ve heard what they loved, what fell flat, what surprised them, and what they wish someone had told them before they arrived. All those conversations add up to something a guidebook can’t offer: a constantly evolving, honest picture of what actually makes a trip to Argentina work.

We bring our own knowledge too. Aby grew up exploring Argentina with family and friends, and knows the places and experiences a local would think to recommend. Bertie knows what it’s like to arrive somewhere unfamiliar, and has spent years understanding what travellers need to feel comfortable, confident and at home.
